To provide you with the best possible service, we have compiled the list of frequently asked questions below. Please note that answers may change as circumstances evolve and we will try to update them as needed.

How are you dealing with the coronavirus outbreak as a company?

Our approach to this challenging situation is guided by a few key principles:

1. Above all, the health and safety of our teams, partners, and customers are of the utmost importance and we do everything possible to ensure the well-being of everyone.
2. We follow the official policies of governments and international organizations (such as WHO) for health advice and travel advice/restrictions.
3. Flexibility is key: circumstances (and possible solutions) change frequently. We are monitoring the situation closely, meeting with our colleagues in the travel industry, and improving our approach as events unfold.
4. We are in this together and we are with you. Everyone is affected by this unprecedented situation and as a travel company, we have felt the effects on our business since the outbreak of Covid-19 in early 2020. Our team works thoughtfully to find solutions that are fair and satisfying for everyone. including our customers, local partners, employees, and villa owners. Such exceptional circumstances require exceptional decisions, and we will do our best to adapt them to each situation. Thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and flexibility.
5. We are working with our on-site teams, villa owners, suppliers, and industry organizations to establish new health and safety procedures to be implemented in all our villas throughout Season 5. These procedures, T.C. It is based on the opinions and recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO).
6. We acknowledge that some of our customers may prefer to keep contact with third parties to a minimum while staying in our villas. This particularly concerns villas where the service (maid, chef, etc.) is included in the rental price. For customers who want to book these villas but are unable to receive service (due to social distancing), we will adjust our pricing accordingly to reflect the absence of staff. Your Villa Specialist will be able to discuss with you solutions to suit your individual needs.

I’m still planning to travel - any practical advice?


We recommend that you always follow your government’s official travel guidelines and check if they recommend any special precautions. For more advice on making your villa vacation as safe as possible, check out our page dedicated to safe post-quarantine vacations.

What if I want a PCR or antigen test before I return to my country or go to my next vacation destination?

PCR and antigen testing can be arranged for all of our clients and our Local Managers are on hand to provide all the help you need. They will be happy to provide details of local clinics and laboratories where tests can take place, to help reserve you when needed, and in most cases to have the tests done at your villa for maximum convenience and comfort.

Will my travel insurance cover me if I cancel my reservation?

This will depend on your policy. Please check your policy documents and contact your insurance provider directly if you have any doubts.

Should I get travel insurance for future trips?

Yes. We always and strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Many policies cover different aspects of travel. When choosing a policy, we recommend that you check exactly what is covered and how the terms and conditions apply.

What should I do if my country’s government does not advise against non-essential travel but we are worried about the Coronavirus due to pre-existing medical conditions?

First of all, we recommend that you consult your doctor for advice. Next, we recommend contacting your travel insurance provider to check how you are covered.

Our flights have been canceled. What should I do?

First, apply for a refund with your airline: if they cancel your flight, you may be eligible for a full refund. Then we recommend checking alternative flights with other airlines (you can do this quickly and easily at Skyscanner: www.skyscanner.net). Please feel free to contact us if you need any help with this.

My country currently does not advise against non-essential travel, but I cannot afford to go into quarantine when I return. What should I do?

This is another question for your travel insurance provider.

What are you doing to prepare your villas for Coronavirus prevention?

We follow all recommendations and best practice guidelines issued by governments, health authorities, and international organizations and take all possible measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.

Especially:

1. Our Local Managers keep us fully informed and cooperate with the owners of our villas in all matters related to the Coronavirus.
2. Extra deep cleaning is arranged for each villa before each check-in.
3. All personnel working in our villas have been given coronavirus hygiene rules.
4. Our villas are equipped with specific health and hygiene advice, including the numbers and addresses of the nearest specialist health centers.
5. A good hand sanitizer and other related products are provided to each villa.
6. At any time, our guests can contact our Local Managers 24/7 for advice, reassurance, and assistance. They are in the field and have the know-how and connections to deal with any situation.
7. Our team is trained in our new health and hygiene procedures. However, we understand that some customers will choose to keep the presence of staff to a minimum or completely exclude during their stay, due to understandable social distancing.
